Rates
$220 per therapy hour (50-minute session)
The current recommended rate for therapy provided by a registered psychologists in Alberta is $220.00 per 50 minute session. Insurance
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?

What registration requirements does my health insurance have of the provider (i.e., Register Psychologist or Registered Provisional Psychologist)?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Payment
Cash, Check, American Express, Visa and MasterCard accepted for payment.
Direct Billing
We can for your convince direct bill a number of health insurance providers with the most common ones listed below:
- Alberta Blue Cross
- Canada Life (formerly Great West Life)
- Green Shield Canada
- Medavie Blue Cross
If your insurance provider is not on the list please contact us to inquire about our ability to direct bill your health insurance provider.
Cancellation Policy
For cancelling an appointment, 48 hours notice is preferred for an appointment cancellation, however 24 hours notice is required for appointment cancellations. If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
